The Mongo Book Project: Calling All Dumpster Divers!

The world of mongo and dumpster diving is a quiet and secretive one. Who would want to let too many others in on the wonderful treasures that can be found in other people's cast-offs? The fewer people who know, the better it is for those of us who collect mongo!

However, there's still that drive we have to tell the world about the incredible things we've found (and how crazy some people are for tossing out fabulous things!).

So here's the idea: We're putting together a collection of the greatest mongo stories ever told. If you have a particularly great find, send us an e-mail with the subject line "Mongo Stories" at:

You don't have to give your name or where you found your treasure if you prefer to remain anonymous. You do need to provide a valid e-mail address so we can contact you. If you have a picture of your treasure, let us know so we can arrange for you to send it to us.

What do you get out of it? Your name in print and a copy of the book when it is published! If you prefer to remain anonymous, your story will be in print and you'll get a copy of the book!

All stories are subject to editorial scrutiny, which means we'll fix your spelling and grammar and stuff like that so you look brilliant!
