 Welcome to www.MongoWorld.com

Do you mongo? Do your friends mongo?

If you pick up treasures from the side of the road or find yourself knee-deep in a Dempsey Dumpster, you mongo.

Mongo curious? Mongo devotee? Mongo beginner? Mongo fiend?

Are you someone who can't walk past a dumpster without diving in?

Whoever you are and whatever mongo-related thing you're looking for, Mongo World is for you. You are the people who appreciate the beauty and utility in other people's cast-offs. You are the people who prefer recycling treasures to filling landfills with perfectly serviceable and beautiful things. You are the people who believe waste is ... wasteful.

Please browse through MongoWorld.com -- although it's under construction, you'll still find some fun stuff you can't get anywhere else. Not even from your favorite dumpster. Dive in!

A found rocking chair from my parents' beach house:

Just one of those things that people leave for the trash collector.

A found framed print from my parents' beach house:

This is kind of amazing. The photo here isn't that great, but the print, frame, and glass are all in perfect condition. It's an Edward Hopper (American Realist painter) print. Very appropriate for a beach house. It also perfectly fits over a mysterious hole in the wall.
